We’re so grateful for Ms. Cheryl and the beautiful, creative journey she has helped our daughter begin. We started taking art classes with Ms. Cheryl when my daughter was just five years old. Ms. Cheryl became more than a teacher. She was like a grandmother to her—gentle, patient, and full of heart. Ms. Cheryl has a gift for recognizing each child's individual strengths and tailoring lessons to help them shine. It wasn’t about making perfect art—it was about helping each child discover their own voice. With her she began creating with confidence, experimenting with colors and techniques well beyond her age. We had tried other art programs before, but nothing felt as personal or thoughtful. She believed in my daughter in ways that made her believe in herself. Now our home is filled with canvases and sketches, and more importantly, with pride.

Cheryl has been wonderful. In just a few classes she has made our kids feel welcome in her home and comfortable to express themselves freely in their art. Her gentle and fun style has kept our kids (ages 6 and 8) coming back. Highly recommend!

Our two kids, Faith and Will, attended Rock Ranch camp for a week this summer and absolutely loved it! Cheryl is so welcoming, patient, and clearly passionate about helping kids explore their creativity and the outdoors. Each day they came home excited to share what they did. Our older daughter Faith couldn’t wait to tell us all about the delicious dishes they cooked—she especially loved learning new recipes and trying her hand at different techniques. Meanwhile, Will was thrilled to hike up the mountain every day and came home proud of his adventures. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow and their interests shine. The camp was well-organized, safe, and full of hands-on experiences that kept them engaged and happy. We’re so glad we chose Rock Ranch and would highly recommend it to other families looking for a fun and enriching summer camp!
