At Rock Ranch your first class is FREE! And, we supply all the material for the first session. Once you enroll your child you will have the opportunity to purchase materials they will use in class from links provided for you in a materials list below.

Jr. Artists I - Rock Ranch Ages 5-8

Every Monday 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM

Students learn the shapes, composition and use of mediums such as watercolor, markers, colored pencils, chalk pastels and acrylic paint. The class is 90 minutes and the students will bring home a finished piece of art each time they attend.

Assessments must be scheduled before enrollment.

You are not excepted to purchase all the supplies listed below unless you want to. Upon enrollment, I’ll let you know which supplies should come first. To begin, however, make sure your child has Graphite Pencils, tape, erasers and sketching paper. These items are used every session.

As we progress through each lesson you may need to purchase the supplies for that particular project.  If you need help with obtaining supplies, please let Cheryl know in advance.

Every Monday 5:45 PM to 7:15 PM

This is an upper division class for students that are ready for a challenge. The students learn how to create depth in their drawings through various shading techniques. Students follow a reference photo or still life. Each project takes 3- 4 weeks to completion.

Assessments must be scheduled before enrollment.

Ages 9-14

First Two Fridays
4:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Character Illustration

Sculpting With Clay 5-Adult

Sculpting with clay is a workshop style class. Your child (or yourself) will learn the basics of molding a piece of clay for a sturdy foundational project. The student will work from a reference and will be guided by the instructor. We use air dry and polymer clay types.
